Is that page needed as it is? I could probably imagine it being about the whole kingdom and not just the Capital.--Mordecay (talk) 19:57, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

NPC Tags

I believe that Template:NPC should be used in lists and infoboxes. I want support to keep the usage of this tags at least in those cases. This is VERY useful to me; they short the time of my navigation when it comes to recognize a character. I have difficulties in keep editing without this kind of organization. I don't understand what reasons turn this template a disadvantage and I want to see them listed. For now, I reduced the usage of it just as I could. If someone is really annoyed with its usage I have an idea:

The link Arthas Menethil when used with the Template:NPC would stay "Arthas Menethil (npc)" and the pop-up would only open if you put the mouse up the word "npc".

I'm trying my best to keep both options, and for everything that I have ever done for this site, please anyone help me to find a plausible or intermediate solution for this problem. What I must know is why there is people thinking of the maintenance of this Template as a problem. Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 02:33, 20 December 2016 (UTC)

Why are you saying this here? Use the already-existing forum topics. Xporc (talk) 08:16, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
Please confine this discussion to one place. Don't drag it out into multiple, completely unrelated pages. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 08:58, 20 December 2016 (UTC)
So, can anyone instruct me to what page this situation is being currently discussed? Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 13:14, 21 December 2016 (UTC)

The Scourging

I'm pretty sure that the Scourging of Lordaeron ended at the end of Scourge breaking of Capital City (unofficial name). The name "Scourging" is not applied to the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas nor to the Siege of Dalaran. It's pretty symbolic the bells of Capital City ringing, with Terenas II dying, heavily crippling the Kingdom of Lordaeron as its final purpose. When it ends, the Wc3 campaign The Scourge of Lordaeron ends as well, may indicating a new phase of the war. When the Scourge invades Quel'Thalas and Dalaran it had already been formed; they did not used the plague to turn their people in undeath. Does ShadowShade has any evidence that the name refers to the continent? Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 14:03, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

There's no proof either that "Scourging of Lordaeron" is limited to the beginning of the Third War, if we check the actual source for the name. Also, might be relevant:  [The Fall of Lordaeron and the Scouring of the Eastweald] Xporc (talk) 14:12, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Antonidas and Jaina, and hence Dalaran, were still involved in that campaign though. --ShadowShade81413 (talk) 16:23, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
But Antonidas never died before or until the Scourge breaking of Capital City, nor Dalaran was destroyed at time. They got destroyed later. Also, Kel'Thuzad did not made it as a lich, for sure. He was an necromancer and just reborn from the Sunwell as a lich at the fall of Quel'Thalas. Gabrirt (talk · contributions) 16:54, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
Let me reiterate my point. Do you have a single proof that the "Scourging of Lordaeron" only refers to the content of the human campaign, and not the whole war that destroyed everything north of Hillsbrad? Xporc (talk) 17:47, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
