Origin

What evidence is there to prove that Remulos is not one of the three sons of Cenarius mentioned in the legend? It seemed to make sense to me that Remulos is "the Keeper" mentioned in the night elf legend, and that Zaetar is "the Centaur", since we already know at least some of the centaur tribes derive from him. Is there any evidence that disproves that?

Orgrimmar

Keeper Remulos was wandering around Orgrimmar the other day (4/10/08), and seemed to be immune to every type of attack. He was wandering in and out of houses, not attacking anyone who attacked him. We could damage him, but he'd recover almost instantly. It was obviously a bug, but what could have drawn him so far away from Moonglade? --Yuvorias (talk) 08:06, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

Most Powerful Druid?

In the article it says that he is "perhaps the most powerful druid in the world." I thought that Malfurion was stronger, or for sure Cenarius. No doubt he is a powerful druid, but the most powerful? jclipps (talk) 02:06, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Cenarius would not fall under the category "in the world". And as far as Malfurion goes it could be a toss up. I'd bet on Malfurion but the passage says "perhaps" so theres really no issue with it.Warthok Talk Contribs 04:04, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Add a meaningful name explanation

According to legend, Remulos was the brother of Romulos, the founder of Rome. At an age of which this editor's knowing of which escapes his grasp of dates, Remulos and Romulos were abandoned and raised by wolves. Their name are Romulus and Remus, not Remulos and Romulos, beside, Remulos did not kill Zaetar. And Remus was killed when he leapt across the trench his brother drew (nothing is lost about it, thought reasons vary).

Yes, TLA, we *CAN* blame you for making factual errors, and this isn't the first time you've made an edit without checking your sources that turned out to be wrong. Most people would have learned something by now. But the question was, "Is such and suchus worth mentioning?" and not "Did such and suchos do this?". So that research wouldn't of been helpful because I misspelt "suchos". I guess that's because in books he is refered has Remulos most of the time. And assuming that his full name is "Remulos" we should get rid of the title like we are doing since some times.

What's up with this policy? It's pretty easy and leaves very few mistakes possibles:

• Full name is known (often book and/or game characters) ==> remove the title
• Full name is not known (often game characters only) ==> leave the title

And here's where it gets sticky... Queen Azshara, Queen is just a title, so should she be moved as well. I'd say no, cause not only of the zone, but it just doesn't sound right to leave the word queen out when referring to her. Sssssssssssssssssssssssss For Pony! Well Azshara is only called by her first name, like Xavius, but considerning the names of their epoch, they were likely to have a family name which is never mentionned.

But I would hate to see Azshara (character) or Azshara (zone)...

For the NPCs moves, I recall having moved many with what seemed to be a full name (like Velene Starstrike, Dalia Sunblade). If that not enough, do not esitate and revert.

I have never actively challenged it because it is just annoying (I did make a small comment once). Does moving an NPC's name to a different page title impede people looking for the NPC? I have minimal data for or against that. Edits like this seem strange to me. It was disambiguated on its own. Look what happens when an entity only has one name and a title. Queen Azshara is not an NPC, but still needs to be disambiguated from the zone, but "Azshara (night elf/queen)" seems unnecessary. Taking this policy to the letter would make "The Prodigal Leader" into "Arthas Menethil (First Legion Forward Camp)" or the like. A'noob, you are a great editor, but you edit a lot, and it is supported by policy, so it is not worth it to revert it.--SWM2448 21:15, April 9, 2010 (UTC)

He has been mentioned in novels as simply Remulos, so I think it's logic to move it to Remulos. For those searching the npc, they still have the redirect from Keeper Remulos.--Lon-ami (talk) 20:35, April 10, 2010 (UTC)

Leader of the Cenarion Circle?

I read the new novel Stormrage and there it was mentioned that Fandral was the leader of the Cenarion Circle, then followed by Malfurion. Where does it say that Remulos is it's leader? Andreioplst (talk) 13:40, June 5, 2010 (UTC)
