MMO Champion

See Patch 3.1.0 Notes for lots more undocumented goodies. I'll try to add these into the article as I have time. -Howbizr (talk) 14:12, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Thank you. I'll try to add and wikify the indocumented class changes.--Iggey (talk) 14:38, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
It seems that MMO-Champ has a lot of double information. Man, now I have to clean it up after all that work. :(--Iggey (talk) 16:33, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
Ya you have to watch out for that. I have more links: (same deal, I'll integrate if I have time later, or else someone can now) -Howbizr (talk) 20:08, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Sorry I haven't had as much editing time. More updates released; lots and lots of blue posts summarized on MMO Champ again. Big points: -Howbizr (talk) 18:14, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

  • Hearthstone reduced
  • Ghearth nerf
  • Dual spec at level 40
  • Achievement mounts being retired (much like the Amani War Bear)
  • Lovefool title retro-actively extended to more players
  • More Argent Tournament & Coliseum details released
  • Class details
If anyone playing on the PTR can confirm these mounts, then add to this article: -Howbizr (talk) 22:32, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
All item listed above are in the appropriate articles. -Howbizr (talk) 01:51, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
The Ironbound Proto-Drake and Rusted Proto-Drake are the 2 NEW Meta-achievement rewards for compleating  Glory of the Explorer and  Heroic Glory of the Explorer -- ( Morph | Contribs | Talk )

The toy store now has a train destroying robot gnome toy that dances. Cost showed me 225g iirc ^.^ Akizeta (talk) 00:22, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

THANK GOD. Every raid leader needs one of those.
More updates (I will add, or someone else):
These are from: -Howbizr (talk) 15:55, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
It has a 30 minute cooldown like the train does. Didn't check if each train/destroyer shared cooldown, but I assume they do. Akizeta (talk) 16:28, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Changes to the Kirin Tor (Rings)

The current Kirin Tor (Rings) [Signet of the Kirin Tor], [Band of the Kirin Tor], etc... have had their Cooldowns lowered to 30 minutes (was 1 hour) on PTR build (9684). -- ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 17:09, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Cost of Kirin Tor (Inscribed Rings)

I changed the cost to 1,250g - because when I was on the PTR server and traded in my [Signet of the Kirin Tor] for the [Inscribed Signet of the Kirin Tor] it cost me the [Signet of the Kirin Tor] and 1,062g 50s 00c and I am revered with Kirin Tor, so I took out the 15% discount and came up with the 1,250g. -- ( Morph | Contribs | Talk ) 08:55, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Glyphs suddenly purged

I doubt I will have time, but I just wanted to note that the list of glyphs noted on either the main page or the undoc page is missing a whole bunch that were previously noted. See here for example. None of these paladins glyphs are listed anymore. -Howbizr (talk) 17:55, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Paladin glyphs as well as the other class glyphs are listed on the Patch 3.1.0 documented page under the Items - Paladin section - I removed the ones from Patch 3.1.0 (undocumented changes) that were listed on both pages - if there were not on both -- they stayed on undocumented - Paladins just happen to have all of their glyph changes documented - so all were removed from the undocumented -- (<span="help title=Morph>M o r p h | <span="help title=Morph_Contribution(s)_to_this_Wiki>C | <span="help title=Morph_Discussion_Page>T) MorphgnomeMorphdraenei 18:45, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. I think I was expecting a "glyphs" section like in previous patches. -Howbizr (talk) 18:46, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Correct?

It says that "The vendors in the Hall of Legends and Champions' Hall sell level 70 items once again. The level 80 vendors have been removed." but isn't that bad for people that are level 80? Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 04:08, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Human voice?

It says "King Varian Wrynn now has a (human) voice." so he didn't have a "human" voice before this patch? Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 04:13, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

It means that he doesn't have a unique voice. So it's just the standard human NPC soundset.--Iggey (talk) 11:27, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Before he had no voice at all. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:38, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Cleanup needed

Now that the patch is actually out, can we clean up some of the vague speculation? The point of the Undocumented Changes page is to keep track of changes that aren't in the patch notes but actually are in the patch, not things we were told might be in the patch.Emmyandmark (talk) 03:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

I would say anything you know one way or another, go ahead and edit. If it means overwriting a reference, just delete the reference, because those are all in relation to PTR data. -Howbizr (talk) 13:28, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
The other day I did go thru and removed the Items that were documented on the Documented pages and left the items that were not documented, from the Forums or patch notes, on this page. -- (<span="help title=Morph>M o r p h | <span="help title=Morph_Contribution(s)_to_this_Wiki>C | <span="help title=Morph_Discussion_Page>T) MorphgnomeMorphdraenei 19:13, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Warrior changes

"You now gain rage when damage done to you is absorbed, such as through a Power Word: Shield." Why was this struck through? To my knowledge this was a change that was actually implemented, and it's not mentioned in the regular patch notes. Sphinxer (talk) 13:11, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

The page is probably generally under scrutiny because of {{accuracy}}. You'll need to ask Laroa to know why (s)he removed it. If you can verify it in live yourself, then just undo the changes. -Howbizr (talk) 13:36, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
The documented page only shows changes that was actualy in the patchnotes the undocumented page is for all the changes that are in the game but are not listed in the patchnotes - that is the same thing that happened to my addition of the  [Emblem of Conquest]. It was removed from the documented page as the release came near and the emblem was not in the notes. Later, Howbizr added it to the undocumented page when he realised it was not listed. -- (<span="help title=Morph>M o r p h | <span="help title=Morph_Contribution(s)_to_this_Wiki>C | <span="help title=Morph_Discussion_Page>T) MorphgnomeMorphdraenei 16:44, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Lake Wintergrasp

It appears while on defense, you can no longer fire the wall turrets inwardly anymore. I noticed this on turrets by the front door. I haven't tried all turrets yet. Can anyone confirm? --Maverick (talk) 17:03, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

I noticed on the turrets placed in the western side wall. I don't know why they did it. Rolandius Paladin.gif (talk - contr) 06:50, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Nagrand quests

Many Nagrand quests had their requirements lowered. See http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=9857 for example

Typhoon modified?

I doubt this particular change, since the specific effect of  [Glyph of Monsoon] is to reduce the Typhoon casting time. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 19:57, September 23, 2009 (UTC)
