Emblem of Conquest was a currency used in Northrend to buy epic (item level 226 or tier 8) items, and can be traded in at a 1:1 ratio for 1 
[Emblem of Valor] with 
Arcanist Firael <Emblem of Conquest Quartermaster> or 
Magister Sarien <Emblem of Conquest Quartermaster>.

This item is no longer available as a drop. However, as all other tier Emblems, 
[Emblem of Triumph] can be downgraded to an Emblem of Conquest by visiting 
Usuri Brightcoin[32.2, 54.5] in the Underbelly of Dalaran or Arcanist Asarina in the Argent Tournament Grounds.

Emblem of Conquest vendors can be found all over Dalaran in the various weapon and armor shops selling the appropriate armor for their location, as well as in the Alliance and Horde quarters of Dalaran:

- This particular badge name was folded over and used in the current PvP point system
[Conquest Points]. Essentially being the PvP equivalent to 
[Valor Points].
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Removed.
- Emblems of Conquest will be immediately converted to gold at a ratio of 5
50
per emblem. Items which were purchased using Emblems of Conquest now require 
[Justice Points] instead.
- Emblems of Conquest will be immediately converted to gold at a ratio of 5
Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08):
- Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Conquest will now drop [Emblems of Triumph] instead. Emblems of Triumph can still be converted to Emblems of Conquest.
- Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Conquest will now drop [Emblems of Triumph] instead. Emblems of Triumph can still be converted to Emblems of Conquest.
- Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04):
- Any dungeons that previously dropped [Emblems of Heroism] or [Valor], such as Naxxramas or Ulduar, will now drop Emblems of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.
- The Heroic dungeon daily quest will now reward 2 Emblems of Triumph and the normal daily dungeon quest will reward 1 Emblem of Conquest.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Added.
