Pantheon lite

The "Watchers/Keepers" in and around Ulduar seems to be a smaller version (or preview from a storytelling angle?) of the Titan Pantheon.

  • Eonar - Freya: Freya calls upon Eonar in the Yogg-Saron fight. Both are life-based.
  • Norgannon - Hodir: Hodir shares no knowledge-based themes, but Norgannon is associated with frost in the Wrath of the Titans item, and the blue dragonflight. Cold logic?
  • Golganneth - Thorim: Thorim calls upon Golganneth in the Yogg-Saron fight. Both are storm-based.
  • Sargeras/Aggramar - Tyr: We know little-to-nothing about Tyr, but his name an the weapons found at his temple makes one think he is war-based.

This connection should be noted somewhere where it fits.--SWM2448 20:39, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

Probably on the Titanic Watchers entry, I'm not sure it warrants mention there, though it could. --Ragestorm (talk · contr) 17:30, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

The Titanic watcher page is about titanic creations that share a rank name. The watchers with temples in the Storm Peaks seem to be a group of their own, but nothing has specifically classified them.--SWM2448 18:39, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Spellcraft Meaning

In the Shadows and Light book, when it says these titans have an extremely high Spellcraft skill (90+), is that for arcane skills and the like, or does it pertain to their specific sphere of power? jclipps (talk) 02:41, April 30, 2010 (UTC)

Pantheon of Order

I've seen someone call them the "Pantheon of Order", is that official? Xporc (talk) 15:29, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

Never heard of such term. Wowhead, Chronicle books, and UVG show no results. --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 15:58, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
They said it in interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wlXCJk3NlFE. it is not offical like canon in game info (tables and such ) similar to how they call Pantheon of death this name. (Yuvalal (talk) 16:54, 12 July 2020 (UTC))
Well that's interesting, while we have no better information we can keep this as just the Pantheon I guess Xporc (talk) 17:15, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
Oh, neat! Ion refers to them as a pantheon of order. Should it be mentioned in the Other names and titles section with the context used in the video, at least? --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 17:21, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
No seeing reasons not to add it in trivia section.(Yuvalal (talk) 17:29, 12 July 2020 (UTC))
Update, more interviews has framed the Pantheon of Titans = Pantheon of Order, compared to the Pantheon of Life (as per new Grimoire book) and Pantheon of Death (Eternal Ones), so I think moving this page to Pantheon of Order and making a Pantheon (disambiguation) page is overdue.HordeIconSmall Kael'thas.gifWarlockUser:Baalqliphoth(talk) 14:59, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
I'd still, personally, prefer if we had an in-universe source for the name before moving. PeterWind (talk) 15:34, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Grimoire is in-universe (written by a broker) but not in-game. Not sure if that counts? HordeIconSmall Kael'thas.gifWarlockUser:Baalqliphoth(talk) 16:32, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Are all three names mentioned in Grimoire or is it just the Pantheon of Life? --HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 16:48, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
Yes, Pantheon of Order (page 154, referring to the Titan-perspective cosmology), Pantheon of Death (forgot to write down the page number in my notes, I'll have to reread it T.T), and Pantheon of Life (page 56 re: Elune) are all used in Grimoire. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Baalqliphoth (talk · contr).
An official name? Yes. Does it have enough weight behind it to warrant a page move just so the big disambiguation feel right? I don't think so, yet. Edit: I guess it does now.--Sandwichman2448 (talk) 03:10, 19 August 2021 (UTC)
Eh we're still not moving the page quite yet so satisfactory middle ground until Blizzard makes more pantheons. Figure by this time next year we'll be more properly introduced to the Pantheon of Life.HordeIconSmall Kael'thas.gifWarlockUser:Baalqliphoth(talk) 06:01, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
