Eastern Plaguelands page

Shouldn't this quest line be place on the main Eastern Plaguelands page, just like the other major chains?

Manners

Does this guy start to talk nicer to you as you complete his quests? I'm only on the first quests he gives, and he seems to view me as very expendable. Hordesupporter 17:58, 1 February 2007 (EST)

Strategy

Pretty sure healing spells are not the cause of the skeletons. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jargon12 (talk · contr).

From what i've seen, he summons adds regardless of healing, Healing does NOT affect the adds he summons, you WILL NEED to heal to kill him. --User:Jargon12

I can confirm the skeletons are not caused by heals. The party started the third attempt before I (as healer) arrived back, and the skeletons were already there. However the skeletons are sensitive to any form of aggro, including healing spells. I did not use Druid [Healing Touch] (HT), but even [Regrowth] caused 2-4 skeletons to head towards me. The heal over time spell [Rejuvenation] does not seem to trigger the threat level (I cannot confirm this as the action was so fast). I cannot confirm or deny that more are summoned if heals are used, or whether heals cause more aggro to him and his minions than any other damage. On the third attempt, I just DPS'd Starfire on Nathanos instead. He has 77K health and the 2K+ damage from four spells (one failed), added to that from a L57 prot warrior (Mila), L70 BM Hunter (Baruth) and L70 Fire Mage (Ciacho), was enough to take him down and complete the quest (but not the pets and skeletons, so all but one of us died soon after). My advice is to DPS bomb him, then if you are still alive, the pets, using traps for as many skeletons as possible. --Tequima (talk) 12:36, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Wrong Faction?

Uh, if Nathanos is the Champion of the Banshee Queen....why is he listed as being from Orgrimmar? That should be Undercity, shouldn't it? --Joshmaul 06:57, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

I think Blizzard just made a mistake when they listed his faction as Orgrimmar instead of Undercity. Eman91 21:46, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Eman91

Blightcaller

Unless one of the quests calls him, "The Blightcaller"... it probably shouldn't be listed as his title. Also Blightcaller isn't necessarily a title. Forsaken naming convention states that they often take on new surnames based on their current condition, or intent to eradicate the scourge[citation needed] . Sometimes because they forgot their old surnames, or because they wanted a new surname. So unless its been specifically said to be a title, it probably shouldn't go into that section of the infobox, and instead be next to his name in the main box (a note of his former name would need to be put somewhere too).Baggins (talk) 02:35, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

In "The Champion of the Banshee Queen," "the Blightcaller Cometh," and "Order Must be Restored":

  • "Among the first of my champions was Nathanos, now known as the Blightcaller." -Sylvanas
  • "Return to the Plaguelands with your army and destroy the Blightcaller." -Bolvar Fordragon
  • "Nathanos is the Blightcaller?" -Bolvar Fordragon Lckyluke372 (talk) 18:14, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

Alliance quest chain affected by WotLK?

Since Bolvar will be moved to Northrend, what will happen with the Alliance quest chain to kill him? Will the quest just be given by King Anduin Wyrnn when he's put in place? Eman91 23:40, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Eman91

There are plans to phase things throughout the game. Just not in the initial release. So that new players will see Bolvar in the castle, but at a certain point Bolvar will move for them.Baggins (talk) 06:52, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
