Grimtotem

I've speculated that he's a renegade Grimtotem, but there's no real proof. (Also, it's been speculated elsewhere that all of the Grimtotems dye their fur anyway...so who knows?) User:QitelRemel/Sig 11:01, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

There intention might have been to be Mr. Smite in hiding, forgetting that they made him officially dead with that vision quest... of course they could always say he was simply rezzed. Well, I haven't played the quest myself, but according to a comment on Wowhead (the only mention I could find), it sounds like Mr. Smite's corpse is seen during the vision, suggesting that he is indeed 'officially' dead. However, Cookie's corpse is also seen, and he is found to be alive once again in the new Deadmines instance. It therefore seems quite possible that Mr. Smite was (like Cookie?) unconscious/near death/feigning death but in fact survived, or alternatively that this whole thing was simply an oversight and essentially non-canon. Either way, since Cookie clearly survived the original instance (despite the apparent confirmation of his death found via the vision), it seems perfectly plausible that Mr. Smite has done the same. So unless there's something else to it not mentioned here, it doesn't sound like this quest changes anything regarding the Mr. Smite speculation. -- Taohinton (talk) 20:07, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
