Last Boss

According to the July/August Computer Games, Hellfire Citadel's last boss will be Korgath Bladefist, not Magtheridon. Magtheridon is in the Onyxia-Style raid wing as stated but that appears to be a side instance within the main complex. Korgath Bladefist is one of the heroes from the Warcraft 2 expansion for the Horde. --Geofram 17:34, 9 June 2006

Fell vs. Fel

The Gamespot article quote misspelled fel orc as "fell orc" repeatedly, but has been corrected by Blastedmonk. --Fandyllic 8:41 AM PDT 1 Sep 2006

Loot for Hellfire Ramparts up to date (Nov-17-2006)

Based on the data on Thottbot, I should now have all the loot information for both difficulties of Hellfire Ramparts up to date.

Instance categories

Why are some of the wings of this dungeon put into separate categories? That will creature a huge bundle of tiny winged categories what with the numerous winged dungeons coming in the expansion. Not to mention the fact that Scarlet Monastery and Dire Maul would also have to be split up into several winged categories. Let's keep the dungeon together shall we? Varghedin 21:54 (CET), Nov 23rd 2006

Personally, I always thought that Dire Maul and Scarlet Monestary's wings SHOULD have their own pages, for the same reason the every subzone in the game has its own page. Besides, LBRS and UBRS have their own pages and they're much less seperated then some of the dungeon wings.

Drops?

There wasn't any drop information garnered from the BC beta? RobertM525 19:52, 16 January 2007 (EST)

There was, but all the items are listed under the people that drop them. This should be corrected eventually, and a concrete list provided somewhere, probably on the page for each wing. --Mikaka 20:02, 16 January 2007 (EST)

Preview

Now that BC is live, can we remove the preview? It's really kinda ugly... we could shove it off to some other page for historical purposes, but there's no need for it to be on the page, as long as the info in it is incorperated into the article somewhere. --Mikaka 20:02, 16 January 2007 (EST)

Black Temple VS Hellfire Citadel

Many people say that the Black temple is the Black Citadel that Illidan, Vashj, Kael, and Akama raided in TFT but the map in the TFT campaign showed that everything happened in Hellfire Pennisula and plus why would Illidan move Magtheridon all the way from The Black Temple to Hellfire Citadel??? -Note there have been several changes to the maps of both Azeroth and Outland over the times, rest assured Hellfire Citadel and The Black Temple are completely different constructs altogether, and always have been. (Also take into account the Hellfire Citadel was only constructed leading up to the invasion of Azeroth as a staging base, while the Black Temple was originally a Draenei temple.

Trailer added

I added the trailer for this one tooKrasusinwow (talk) 00:51, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

Affiliation

Could prehaps these words of Nazgrel "Hellfire Citadel is ours!" in the quest The H [30] The Fall of Magtheridon mean that the Horde has captured the citadel for themselfs, or am I reading too much in to this?User:Void Coconut Crab (talk) 18:53, 14 January 2024 (UTC)

I think you are reading too much into this, despite his remark, we do not know who canonically defeated Maghteridon (Alliance or Horde adventurers ?). Maybe we'll know more one day if they release an Exploring Aze - Outland? ClassIcon paladin.png Wards (talk) 00:00, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3, pg. 153 says it was Horde forces who defeated Kargath and cut down Magtheridon. HordeRace bloodelf male.jpg Mordecay (talk) 07:20, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
My bad, I had completely forgotten this information, it's good to know! ClassIcon paladin.png Wards (talk) 09:22, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
I don't know that you're necessarily reading too much into it, but I also don't think that's enough to confirm that the Horde canonically controls Hellfire Citadel now. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 00:31, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
