Description
There are many consoles such as that one scattered throughout Zereth Mortis.
They have all been beyond my understanding, but perhaps that creature intends to reveal their meaning to us?
Fortunately, I know where there are more. I will mark them on your map, and accompany you... for research purposes.
Let us see what this creature's purpose is.

You have gained a glimpse of knowledge unimaginable. Now, to make use of it.
Notes
On accept, Firim starts following the player.
- Pelagos says: I will stay here and keep watch in case the oracle wakes up. Be safe.
If the player tries to go back into Haven with Firim, he'll despawn:
- Firim says: I have no desire to mingle with those of narrow mind. I will meet you outside of Haven.
He respawns as soon as the player exits the village.
The Mysterious Automa is waiting next to the Tranquil Concordance console out in the Great Veldt. It is initially simply hopping up and down like it did earlier, but when the player and Firim get close, it starts channeling on the console.
- Firim says: Interesting! It seems to be interpreting the cypher in some way!
- Mysterious Automa whirrs happily.
- Firim says: Look, some of the words can be clearly understood! How brilliant, we are uncovering new secrets!
Interact with the console. Most of the text is in First One runes, but two words have been translated: "tame" and, several lines later, "all". The Mysterious Automa runs off to the south.
The same process is repeated at the southwestern Tranquil Concordance console, located just northwest of Haven. On approach:
- Firim says: More knowledge uncovered! I feel we are tantalizingly close to a revelation.
- Mysterious Automa whirrs happily.
This console has a few more legible disjointed words: "beauty", "land", "Joy", and "end."
The southern Tranquil Concordance is in the Dimensional Falls.
- Firim says: It is trying to find something. We must be close!
- Mysterious Automa whirrs happily.
This one's legible words are "hear", "water", "Running" and "strong."
- Firim says: Yes, everything is coming together! Come, there is one last place we must go.
Head northeast to the Choral Residium in Provis Fauna, which contains a Broken Console—as well as a Maw-Frenzied Lupine threatening the automa, who stands cowering in fear.
- Firim says: Our little friend is in danger! Help it!
Kill the lupine:
- Firim says: Ahh, the final piece of the puzzle! Let us see what it does now.
The automa does its hopping-in-place thing again, now in front of the Resonant Echoism. Interact with it to have both the player and the automa channel on it, triggering a burst of power around both the player and Firim. The automa runs away and disappears, and Firim follows its example:
- Firim says: Astounding! The brilliance! The patterns!
- Firim says: You see it too, yes? Come, let us go back to my home. There will be more there.
No shortcut is provided, so head back to Exile's Hollow manually.
