Spell Shades are shades located in Karazhan.
Abilities
Fireball — Inflicts 837 Fire damage to an enemy, plus 93 additional damage every 1 seconds for 3 sec.
Frostbolt — Inflicts Frost damage to an enemy, reducing its movement speed for 4 sec.
Phasing Invisibility — Makes the caster invisible for 8 sec.
Phasing Invisibility — Flickering in and out of reality, the caster is bridging the gap between this life and the next.
Shadow Bolt — Hurls missiles of dark magic, inflicting Shadow damage to nearby enemies.
Strategy
Early pulls are simple, later pulls are complicated by sheer numbers. They are vulnerable to 
[Curse of Tongues] as well as snares.
They can also be CC'd by either 
[Shackle Undead] or feared via 
[Turn Undead]. Hunter traps seem to be resisted or they even seem to be immune to traps.
The spells they cast cannot be reflect by 
[Spell Reflection].
Shackle Undead works well as a counterspell against shades, and will effectively cancel half of their total damage when spammed.
