Sergeant Schmidt is an officer in the Stormwind Army and Alliance military, who originally served in the Ashran campaign on alternate Draenor. There, Schmidt stood guard at the entrance to Stormshield Stronghold, the Alliance's primary base. Some time afterward, he was assigned to the Skyguard gunship, which notably took part in the battle for the Seething Shore and its Azerite resources.
