  • And did you see that jump? Wondrous.
  • Ask that clever Miss Gearhart if you wish to know more. We must get back to our experiments.
  • Bondo's Charging Station isn't stable. It won't be available most days.
  • Cast all doubt from your mind. It will be wondrous!
  • Dear brother, <name> has waived all claims.
  • Don't die before then.
  • Don't worry, dear brother. We will find new test subjects.
  • I doubt it.
  • I would prefer the science books, dear brother.
  • Indeed, dear brother.
  • My, what an ambitious test subject you are. Here, you may browse my plans for future experiments.
  • Oh yes, my dear test subject. I am most certain it will be required.
  • Remember, everyone can be wondrous if they change enough!
  • See, dear brother? I told you our test subject would survive.
  • Stabilize yourself, dear brother. We must continue our project.
  • We have the tools. We just need the test subjects.
  • Wondrous idea, dear brother!
  • Wondrous! We'll have another experiment ready for you tomorrow, dear test subject.
  • Wondrous, dear brother. I'll redouble my efforts to repair the malfunctioning circuit.
  • You may use the Charging Station as often as you please. Take the energy cells with you.
  • You needn't make up excuses to me, dear brother.

Gossip

Isn't this island wondrous?

I can't wait to modify it.

Trainer Train me.

Buy Let me browse your goods.

Gossip What improvements could mechanization offer me?

Darkspear troll

<Pristy examines you carefully, poking you with a sharp needle.>

Now you are an interesting case, my dear test subject...

I recommend against full limb replacement due to your rapid regeneration. Who knows what would happen.

Besides, your unique biological capability could be leveraged in a more efficient manner.

You should pursue a surgical plan that accounts for near-constant upgrade procedures. You can modify yourself every morning to fit the specific needs of the day!

Most other races could not withstand such a taxing biological demand, but your body appears to be built for it.

Blood elf / nightborne

<Pristy examines you carefully.>

You, my dear test subject, have many flaws. The biggest being your complicated connection to magic.

I assume that you cannot help it. It's in your blood.

But you must break that connection and replace with a much more healthy and sustainable reliance on technology!

Spend some time thinking of the most common tasks you use magic for around your home.

Then, after you've identified them, we will infuse you with a whole host of mechanical components that can do that task for you instead!

Human

<Pristy examines you carefully>

An excellent question! There is always room to improve what nature handed you at birth.

Reject equally the claims that you are perfect or unsalvageable. Both are equally wrong. And you, my dear test subject, have plenty about you that is right.

For the rest, I will write up a 24-page plan detailing every modification we simply must make.

There's still so much to improve!

Forsaken

<Pristy examines you carefully>

Well your body is clearly resilient to even EXIST in its current state.

It also appears to be resilient to, or at least extremely compatible with, infections of all types.

I'd recommend pursuing our most invasive surgical options.

Most test subjects would not survive them, but I'd give you above average odds!

Orc

<Pristy examines you carefully>

There's sufficient room in those shoulders for embedded modules...

No, maybe we should scale back the shoulders and enhance the spine further...

Have you ever wanted to be taller than a Tauren? I think we might be able to pull it off if you're open to copious amounts of skin grafts and extended physical therapy.

Don't worry we won't copy the Tauren horns. We'll embed retractable power coils instead!

Draenei

<Pristy examines you carefully from head to hoof>

Impressive physique.. Sturdy balance... Indomitable resilience... Nature did pretty well with you.

But let's talk about those tendrils... Frankly, they look ridiculous, and I doubt they serve any real purpose.

I recommend immediately replacing them with retractable hoses or storage tubes. Your choice.

Gnome

<Pristy examines you carefully.> I'm pleased to see a fellow gnome asking such questions.

As you might imagine, we have a breadth of research and test cases that track results, specifically with gnome biology.

You can pursue any modifications you see here in Mechagon.

Gossip Tell me about the Charging Station.

The charging station is a large construction project occasionally found in Bondo's Yard.

It's the only device that can recharge Empty Energy Cells, converting them into usable Energy Cells.

Be careful, though. Charging stations are noisy and will attract the attention of nearby troggs who may wish to interfere with you.

You can always ask Waren Gearhart in town if the charging station, or any other particular construction project, is available today. Ir just run by Bondo's Yard and check for yourself.

If the charging station is not available, it should be available within a few days.

Gossip Tell me about Energy Cells.

Energy cells are the most valuable resource we have in Mechagon.

They are large batteries with a universal interface, capable of delivering electrical power to any mechanical device that requires it.

If you're looking to construct or craft something complex, you'll likely need at least one Energy Cell to power it.

You can find Energy Cells almost anywhere on the island, but they are exceptionally rare. When you have them, be sure to use them wisely.

If you have Empty Energy Cells, you can charge them at a Charging Station to convert them into usable Energy Cells.

Gossip Tell me about Empty Energy Cells.

Empty Energy Cells are just Energy Cells that have been drained of all their electricity.

They aren't good for anything other than getting recharged at the charging station. Then they can be used in any project that requires charged Energy Cells.

You can find Empty Energy Cells almost anywhere in Mechagon, but you'll have to wait until the charging station construction project is available to recharge them.
