Keeper Ordanus is a keeper of the grove found in Raynewood Retreat in Ashenvale.

Background

Ordanus is one of the eldest sons of the forest god Cenarius. In the time of the Long Vigil, he roamed the forests of Ashenvale, helping the weary Sentinels to safeguard their homeland. With his father dead, the keeper returned to the forests, seeking to rebuild what Cenarius had established.

World of Warcraft

Sought by the Shadow Council, Ordanus has attempted to conceal himself at the top of the great tree Raynewood in Ashenvale Forest. Braelyn Firehand has made his death her goal and, should she ascertain his whereabouts, will surely send a group of young adventurers to assassinate him. Firehand claims that she knew Ordanus from long ago and that he has the arrogance of his kind, holding himself above even the Highborne.

Cataclysm

During the Ashenvale war, Ordanus ordered Sentinel Melyria Frostshadow and her Sentinels to stay and hold Raynewood Tower from the attacking Horde. When the Horde went around the tower, they pushed into the retreat, and the keeper sent out his dryads to defend the tree. When the dryads fell, he was resurrecting them. As such, Thagg asked Horde adventurers to slain Ordanus.

Dragonflight

This section concerns content related to Dragonflight.

Ordanus survived the Horde's attack, and years later he attended the gathering in Amirdrassil after the tree appeared on Azeroth.
