Murrgly is a murloc from a fishing village in the Forgotten Coast in Feralas. He used to teach his nephew Murky to fish, but he knew that the youngling wasn't good at it.
He, his wife Murr and several other murlocs were captured by the Gordunni clan and brought to Dire Maul to fight for the ogre's amusement. When Aramar Thorne was brought there and had to fight the gnoll Hackle and the wyvern One-Eye, Murrgly showed Thalyss Greyoak a thorn dome containing her three cubs. In the ensuing chaos caused by the Hidden, the murlocs were freed and escaped. Murrgly and Murr were briefly reunited with Murky who saved them from being recaptured by Wordok. Murrgly was now proud of his nephew who decided to join Aram and leave. Woolbeard then led the murlocs out of Dire Maul. On their way, then were haled by an ogre girl who wanted to go with them. Having previously seen how King Gordok treated her, they accepted.[1]
