One-Eye is an old one-eyed wyvern. She was held captive by the Gordunni clan in Dire Maul along with three of her cubs under a dome of thorns. When the ogres' slaves refused to fight, she was sent do deal with them. This happened when Aramar Thorne refused to kill the gnoll Hackle. The two combatants took advantage of her being one-eyed and coordinated their attacks. When Aram hoped on her, he noticed a thorn collar which he removed, but she didn't fly away, yet she stopped attacking the younglings. When the Hidden attacked Dire Maul and killed a guard named Arkus, his head was sent flying, landed next to her and she raised it with her tail and showed it to King Gordok.

The druid Thalyss Greyoak figured there must be something under the dome and learned from other slaves about her cubs. During the ensuing chaos, Thalyss promised her in Taur-ahe to help her, and the druid destroyed the thorn dome and freed the cubs. With the cubs freed, she aided Aram, defending him from Malus whom she knocked out for a brief time. Aram, Thalyss, Murky, Hackle and Makasa Flintwill hoped on her and left Dire Maul for east to her nest atop Skypeak. As they took off, Thalyss was hit by two crossbow bolts and died atop the mountain. She then carried them down, dug a hole for the night elf and eventually left.[1]

One-Eye and her three cubs accepted Makasa's plea for help to rescue Aram from the Hidden citadel in Hellfire Peninsula on Outland. They came to the Dark Portal valley in the Blasted Lands, reuniting with their friends. Upon entering the peninsula, One-Eye, her cubs, Telagos, and a few of the fastest Woodpaw gnolls went ahead to scout the way. Eventually, they fought at the citadel, successfully defeating the Burning Legion demons.[2]
