Meridith the Mermaiden is a naga quest giver found in Tanaris. She was encountered during the Scepter of the Shifting Sands quest chain and could be found off the eastern part of Land's End Beach.
She has been in love with Narain Soothfancy ever since he crashed (with a Gnomish flying machine, as expected) onto her shore, though it is implied that he kindly accepted her help and ran away as soon as he could (and realized that she was into him).

- She was one of the few friendly naga in game. The others being the renegade Skar'this the Heretic, Veehja, and Zalashji who just roamed a cave named after him and was also removed in patch 4.0.3a.
