Magi of the Dead are skeletal mage combat pets for death knights. They can be temporarily summoned via the following:
[Apocalypse] (with the [Army of the Damned] talent, Unholy only)
[Army of the Dead] (with the Army of the Damned talent, Unholy only)
[Magus of the Dead] (Azerite trait, Unholy only)
[Bone Borrower] (anima power)
[Bone Harvester] (anima power)
Abilities
Frostbolt — Deals Frost damage and reduces [the target's] movement speed by 50% for 4 sec.
Shadowbolt — Deals Shadow damage.
Notes
- Multiple Magi of the Dead can be active at the same time.
- Like [Army of the Dead] ghouls, Magi of the Dead follow the commands you give to your Risen Ally.
- The magus will cast two shadow bolts, then a frostbolt, then repeat.
Patch changes
Hotfix (2020-10-14): Shadow Bolt cast by Magus of the Dead no longer double dips into 
[Mastery: Dreadblade]. 
Hotfix (2019-03-27): Fixed a bug that allowed Magus of the Dead to melee attack. - Patch 8.1.5 (2019-03-12): No longer melee attacks, and will no longer have small delays between casting its spells. Magus of the Dead's Frostbolt can now be dispelled.
- Hotfix (2018-12-11): Reduced to 50% effectiveness when engaged in combat with enemy players.
- Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Added.
