Kirix is a rare fire spider found running around the crater in Molten Front, alongside the cliffs where the Druids of the Talon station themselves.

Taming Challenge tactics
Kirix has a Toxic Presence buff which damages nearby players very heavily. Using 
[Deterrence] before beginning the tame supposedly buys you the necessary time.
