Jakhar is a troll priest who accompanied the Horde Expedition to Northrend during the war against the Lich King and who came into possession of the staff known as Light's Wrath. Aboard a zeppelin en route to the warfront, Jakhar practiced wielding Light's Wrath and dreamed of smiting the forces of the Undead Scourge. Over Northrend, the zeppelin was knocked out of the sky by a fierce storm and crash landed deep within Scourge territory, forcing Jakhar to use Light's Wrath to decimate the Scourge and help the Horde soldiers fight their way to safety.[1]

During the war in Northrend, Jakhar used Light's Wrath to purify the land of undead wherever she went, earning her high praise from the Horde's commanders. However, Jakhar gradually became more and more obsessed and single-minded in her quest of destroying the Scourge and often put her fellow Horde soldiers at risk. As she became consumed by thoughts of retribution, her hold over Light's Wrath began to slip.[1]

On one occasion, Jakhar led a small force of Horde forces deep behind Scourge lines, using Light's Wrath to wreak havoc on the undead until she finally lost control of her weapon. A lance of holy magic erupted from the staff, injuring the Horde soldiers and permanently blinding the priest. The party barely managed to retreat with their lives, and Jakhar abandoned Light's Wrath somewhere in the frozen wastes while they fled. According to Israen of the Kirin Tor, Jakhar appeared to be quite humbled by the ordeal and vowed to spend the remainder of the war using her powers to heal, rather than destroy.[1]
