Highmountain Protectors are Highmountain tauren guards found at Thunder Totem in Highmountain. A group of protectors have cornered and defeated followers of Dargrul who tried to escape Neltharion's Lair through the Bartering Cave. They also defended their home during the Legion Assaults.
Following the Argus Campaign and the resurfacing of the Necrodark, many of the Protectors tried to neutralize a threat in Highmountain, but were infected with the Old Gods' whispers of the Darkness. Jale Rivermane wished to free them from the corruption by requesting an adventurer to do it any way they could. Some would die upon interaction, others would turn against one another, but a few were successfully freed.[1]
Abilities
Sunder Armor — Hacks at an enemy's armor, reducing it per application of Sunder Armor. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 20 sec.
Thunderclap — Inflicts Nature damage to nearby enemies, increasing the time between their attacks and slowing their movement speed for 6 sec.
