Hardened Bones is a conduit for death knights. It drops from Timecap'n Hooktail in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, the Sun King's Salvation in Castle Nathria, and the Jailer in the Sepulcher of the First Ones.
It can also drop from various Shadowlands rare spawns, world quests, and Covenant Callings, scaling to your item level.
