The Great Cat Spirit is a saber cat found in southern Moonglade.
Unlike the similarly appearing Great Bear Spirit, it is not currently involved in any quests, and druids obtain their cat form without interacting with it. There was once a quest for druids to obtain their cat forms that involved this NPC and an escort quest in Darkshore, but the quest was removed in early 2005 because it was felt that this gave druids too much Cenarion Circle reputation too early.
Killing it causes a loss of reputation with the Cenarion Circle.
In the Emerald Nightmare raid, the Great Cat Spirit is found dead in the Nightmare version of Moonglade.
