Gaze of Neltharion
Gaze of Neltharion [47, 49] is a large tower in the center of Zaralek Cavern that has good vision on the majority of the zone. The tower has taken significant damage from the north, and a large bonfire burns atop the tower, which has attracted a bunch of lightbound swarmers.
The tower is bordered by Acidbite Ravine to the north and northeast, Loamm to the east, the Sulfur Wastes to the southeast and south, with the Ruins of Drekazera due south, Molten Overflow to the southwest, and Burning Oasis and Igira's Watch to the west.
When the black dragonflight moved out, the place was abandoned. It had a reputation for being haunted by all the experiments they left behind. This reputation made the locals avoid the area which caused it to become the hideout for a bunch of niffen bandits.[1]
Earthmender Narvra and her team of explorers were ordered to investigate the area, but were defeated on their first approach.[2]
Roska Rocktooth led an excavation into the area to uncover more on the history of the place.[1]
