There are a lot of dead links used as sources due to blizzard change of website, and we can't have sources that lead nowhere, however there are many problem and let's discuss them here.--Ashbear160 (talk) 22:06, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
I made some sort of list that i could readily find User:Ashbear160/List of dead sources, some are already transcribed like the Expansion Bestiaries and Story so Far articles, other's alternative links that still work have been found, like the Naga Enciclopedia article and the Troll Compendium, however other had no such luck, and those are the ones i think we need to transcribe.--Ashbear160 (talk) 22:11, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Here's the first example of attempting to transcribe using the Internet Archive Wayback Machine User:Ashbear160/Ulduar Bosstiary(had to write each letter copypasta doesn't work there, and i haven't been able to recover the images) it's still unfinished but tell me if there's any problems.--Ashbear160 (talk) 22:17, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Ulduar Bosstiary

- I do not think that it is needed and the information is already on each boss's page, but if it is needed, then I think that it is rather bland, but if that is just me, then it is riddled with several spelling errors.--SWM2448 00:37, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- I tried my best to transcribe it, it might have some mistakes from my part(knackered keyboard), and all of the images were broken, the original page had maps with each location of the boss too, so it's no wonder it looks bland(compare it to the bestiaries another source article)
- The point of this is creating a transcription of dead sources, that information is supposed to have this article as a source(Since it's a source article instead of linking to nowhere)

Monsters of Ahn'Qiraj
this is another attempt, i managed to recover a single image and everything was copy pasted, so there are no typos(from my part).

Blackwing Lair (Underdev)

- I haven't been able to find one, even tried changing the link to the europe version(in which the warcraft enciclopedia still works and we have to update all links to the dead american version to the working european one)--Ashbear160 (talk) 20:05, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
- I know that the original page is gone. That's not what I'm asking. I'm asking if the information contained in this is information that isn't found anywhere else, e.g. quests, etc. If the Underdev page is just a retread of all the information we already know about Blackwing Lair, I don't see much point in archiving it. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:05, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
