I wonder if this template should be upgraded and get used on pages like the three Bestiarys, which currently use their own non-templated warning. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?--SWM2448 05:14, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

It probably should... this template is not being used currently anyway. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 05:58, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Is there any way to see which pages use this template?--Ashbear160 (talk) 03:43, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
The What Links here link. Snake.gifSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3.gifFor Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:15, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
So Pcj is deleting the articles with this tag, what do we do? We kind of need them.--Ashbear160 (talk) 16:17, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
They were copyright violations. Please see the copyright policy.--SWM2448 17:48, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
So we should delete all source articles? and leave a lot of dead sources? is that it?...--Ashbear160 (talk) 17:51, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
I never said that. The question is of what is too much. Coobra said "I didn't know about the Wayback Machine, so finding replacements is not that big a deal..." and I agree with that, but if you really want to continue, talk to Pcj about wiki standards.--SWM2448 18:28, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
Then why are the bestiaries ok? and the troll compendium not?, maybe if a admin asked for permission in the blizzard story forums this would probably be a lot easier(if blizzard actually bothered to answer).--Ashbear160 (talk) 18:43, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

block edits

Hello I do think pages with this template should recive edit block/lock template as well to prevent vandelism as the template already say "do NOT change this article or section", So for make it safer and no need to rely on other to not change the page , Lock option is good option for making sure it wont be change. i think having these pages be closed to editing would create more work than it'd save, since they do need to be edited sometimes to fix links (e.g. when another page is moved) or add/change categories. as far as i'm aware, there hasn't really been a problem with vandalism of source pages; the majority of edits made to them are by long-time editors who (hopefully 😉) know what they're doing —Eithris (talk) 16:27, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
I think, as long as things are going relatively smooth, we don't need to lock pages. PeterWind (talk) 22:34, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
