I've started a proposal to remove the rule to segregate quest articles off in their own pseudo-namespace (killing off the Quest: prefix, basically). Not going to go over all the details here but thought I would announce it a bit more widely. --PcjWowpedia admin (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 22:00, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Is everyone else getting an internal error when they go to Project:Naming policy and its talk page? I assume it has something to do with the recent software update. Many/most other pages seem fine, I have seen a few other oddities but this one seems most urgent given your recent proposal, which I yearn to respond to :) - jerodast (talk) 00:26, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
Removed the old stuff (working on archiving it to narrow down the issue but the main page should be OK now). --PcjWowpedia admin (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 00:59, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
As I'm sure you saw, I managed to edit the page by going to history and clicking "last revision". I now find that I can use the regular link to get to the talk page without a full page error, but the project page still won't load at all. I can see it via redirect though. I don't think the errors have anything to do with your archiving. I'm seeing "Internal Error" "[848b8fd9] /Wowpedia:Naming_policy Exception from line 77 of /home/hydra/public_html/includes/parser/StripState.php: Invalid marker: ?UNIQa8b356f3d7faa1e7-nowiki-00000001-QINU?", I see weird long UNIQstrings inside the policy proposal template, one on the main portal, ran into something just trying to get to the forums, having trouble with diffs, search, etc. Should I start documenting this stuff or are people still pinning down the loose bugs after the big update today? - jerodast (talk) 01:30, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
The internal error happens on any article that is quite big. For an example, Valley of the Four Winds and Patch 6.0.2. And in my opinion, I'm not so sure about removing the prefix "Quest:". If an item, NPC, zone, etc. is the same name of the Quest name, would "(quest)" be added at the end? — SurafbrovWarcraft Wiki administrator T / C 01:30, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
Curse knows about the errors - they're getting worked on. Yes, articles that resolve to the same name will have appropriate disambiguating parentheses appended, much like we do elsewhere on the wiki (achievements, items, etc...). --k_d3 01:45, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
Cool, thanks for error info.
(And just to remind newcomers, the main discussion on the proposal is on the other page linked at the start.) - jerodast (talk) 01:58, 11 September 2014 (UTC)
