Fighters are a type of warriors.

Tuskarr fighters were encountered in Northrend. Colonel Kurzen employs jungle fighters. Lordaeron fighters can be found in the Eastern Plaguelands.

Fighter is also term used for battle planes.

• In the Warcraft RPG, fighter and warrior were separate classes. Fighter was a core class, while warrior was an NPC class. In the World of Warcraft RPG, fighter was replaced with a new warrior class, while the old warrior class was replaced with the soldier class for gameplay purposes.
