Feral Instinct is a passive Feral druid ability. It reduces the chance enemies have to detect you while Prowling in [Cat Form].

Tips and tactics

This ability is beneficial for sneaking past higher-level opponents, and can be very useful in PvP.

Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 16 (was 9).
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now learned at level 9 (was 14).
Hotfix (2012-09-12): Feral stealth (Feral Instinct) has been made more effective.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now learned at level 14 (was 10).
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Changed from a tier 2 Feral Combat talent to a level 10 Feral Combat specialization ability. No longer increases the damage of [Swipe].
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): No longer increases threat generated in Bear form, but now increases damage done by your Swipe ability by 5/10/15%.
Patch 2.0.1 (2006-12-05): Reduced from 5 points at 3/6/9/12/15% to 3 points at 5/10/15%.
