Farstrider Retreat is a small quest hub in Eversong Woods. The Farstriders who live here can always be counted upon to offer tasks to willing adventurers. The building is guarded by several Silvermoon Guardians.
Years before the Second War, the bodies of Anaryth and Rendevan, slain by the Amani trolls, were found by Sylvanas Windrunner and Lor'themar Theron. They brought them back to the retreat. At the onset of the Second War, Sylvanas and Vereesa were at the retreat preparing a bear pelt when a royal courier came and summoned them to Silvermoon to be informed of their parents' deaths by King Anasterian. Later, the rangers gathered here to swear in Sylvanas as their new Ranger-General. Years later, after the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas, Sylvanas, now a Darkfallen, came here looking for her friends. She found Lor'themar and Halduron Brightwing, but overheard them speaking about the monster she became.[1]
