Farmer Yoon is a young pandaren from the city who inherited Sunsong Ranch from his grandfather. After giving his farm away to the adventurer, he can occasionally be found at the Halfhill Market.
Background
Mists of Pandaria
Although Yoon grew up in Dawn's Blossom, in his youth he had the opportunity to occasionally visit his grandfather, Old Yoon, at the family farm and learn all sorts of advice about farming, enough to get him started at least. His grandpa affectionately called him "Yoonie".
When Haohan Mudclaw, head of the Tiller's Union, heard Yoon had come to town and was planning to work the farm, Haohan callously offered to buy the land so that Yoon would just go back to the city "where he belonged". Yoon refused, stating that he can't just sell his family's farm. After much hard work, with the aid of an adventurer, Yoon finally gains the respect of Haohan and the other members of the Tillers council and is allowed to join the Tillers, with the adventurer alongside him as his business partner.
Soon after joining the Tiller's Union, Nana Mudclaw, the eldest member of the council and childhood friend of Old Yoon, decides to retire from her duties and chooses Farmer Yoon as her successor. Although he would have a good deal to learn, she considers him to have a good head on his shoulders and most importantly, a generous heart. Yoon decides to accept the responsibility but doesn't believe that he will be able to work his farm and be on the council at the same time. Rather than sell the family property to some stranger, he gifts it to his business partner, entrusting them to take care of it as he himself would.
Yoon can be seen at the Celestial Court on the Timeless Isle with Fish Fellreed.
The Untamed Valley
After the Siege of Orgrimmar, Farmer Yoon was not present in the vale, as he was planning a food-delivery contract with dwarven masons within the Jade Forest on behalf of the Tillers' Union.[1]
The War Within
He can be seen outside the Caverns of Time in Tanaris during the Bronze Celebration, watching the Mount Mania.
