History

Third War

Falon fought on the Isle of Quel'Danas against the Scourge invaders. Together with his brother, the two made a daring rescue attempt after Anasterian Sunstrider was slain by Arthas Menethil, securing the fallen king's body and saving him the defilement of undeath. They returned to Silvermoon to the astonishment of the gathered crowds, their act of heroism providing the beleaguered elves with a much-needed morale boost.

Falon and Solanar also took part in Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider's attack on Quel'Danas, in an attempt to destroy the tainted Sunwell before its corrupted energies could kill the surviving elves bound to it. Falon was tasked with defending Rommath throughout the ordeal, though swapped roles with Solanar at the last moment (reasoning that as the elder, it was his duty to face the greater danger) and went to face the Scourge. He supported Lor'themar Theron when the ranger lord did battle with a rampaging Amani berserker, but the troll targeted and killed Falon instead.

Solanar changed his surname after Falon's death, as a further way to honor his brother.[1]
