	Everlasting Affliction (5 ranks); Tier 10 Affliction warlock talent; Passive; Your Corruption and Unstable Affliction spells gain an additional 1/2/3/4/5% of your bonus spell damage, and your Drain Life, Drain Soul, Shadow Bolt, and Haunt spells have a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to reset the duration of your Corruption spell on the target.;

Everlasting Affliction is a Warlock talent in the Affliction tree that increases the critical strike chance of [Corruption], [Seed of Corruption] and [Unstable Affliction]. In addition, each time you cast [Haunt], [Drain Soul], or [Drain Life], it has a chance to reset the counter of your [Corruption] spell on the target.

Tips and tactics

It may be necessary to clip and recast Drain Soul while the target is under 25% HP in order to ensure Corruption is properly refreshed.

Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Now increases the critical strike chance of Corruption, Seed of Corruption and Unstable Affliction instead of increasing spell power bonus of Corruption and Unstable Affliction. Reset chance no longer applied to Shadow Bolt. Moved from tier 10 to tier 6 and reduced to 3 ranks (was 5).
Hotfix (2009-12-17): Everlasting Affliction can now refresh the duration of Corruption on a target when the Warlock casts Drain Soul.
Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added.
