Eternal Flame is a Herald of the Sun paladin hero talent.

Patch changes

• Patch 11.0.2 (2024-08-13): Re-added as a row 2 Herald of the Sun hero talent (was level 45 talent). Now replaces [Word of Glory].
  
• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Removed.
  
• Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14):
  • Now has a 1.5-second cast time (up from instant cast) for Holy Paladins.
  • Periodic healing effect has been changed. Its duration now scales with Holy Power, instead of its healing. Its effect at 3 Holy Power remains unchanged.
  • Illuminated Healing can once again be triggered by Eternal Flame.
    
• Hotfix (2013-09-23): Eternal Flame's heal-over-time effect is increased by 50% when used on the Paladin (down from 100%).
  
• Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Periodic heal-over-time effect now heals for 40% more.
  
• Hotfix (2013-03-27): Fixed an issue where Word of Glory or Eternal Flame did not work when both Divine Purpose and Tier-15 Protection Paladin 2-piece set bonus was present.
  
• Hotfix (2013-03-05): Holy PvP 4-piece set bonus no longer causes Eternal Flame to generate a charge of Holy Power.
  
• Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Periodic heal now provides 100% more healing when self-cast.
