Eldreth Spectres are some of the former Shen'dralar population that now are undead wraiths floating inside the instance Dire Maul. In the past, they would stealth. Warlocks could cast a 
[Detect Invisibility] buff on party members, removing the element of surprise.
Abilities
Dark Offering — Uses dark magic to heal an ally.
Dispel Magic — Dispels magic on an ally, removing 1 harmful spell.
Greater Invisibility — Turns the caster invisible until the effect is cancelled.
Unstable Affliction — Shadow energy slowly destroys the target. In addition, if the Unstable Affliction is dispelled it will cause damage to the dispeller and silence them for 5 sec. Only one Unstable Affliction or Immolate per Warlock can be active on any one target.
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Level reduced from 58 - 59. Will no longer turn invisible. - Patch 1.3.0 (2005-03-07): Added.
