The Devouring Sea or Barrier Sea[1] was Draenor's equivalent of the Great Sea on Azeroth. Its waters were dark green. The largest orcish port on it was Zeth'kur in a gulf called the Shadowed Seas.
The sea disappeared when the planet was destroyed, but curiously the shape of the coastline remains to this day in Outland, the water now replaced by the Twisting Nether. The only evidence of its former existence is the ruined dock at Kirin'Var Village in the Netherstorm.
