Defias Pillagers are humans found in Moonbrook in Westfall.
In World of Warcraft: Classic, they are feared because of their high damage fireballs. Another factor in this mob's lethality is its often close clustering with other Pillagers and nearby Defias Looters. A combination of a Pillager's 
[Frost Armor], Looter's 
[Disarm], and Looter's 
[Backstab] make tangling with two mobs a nearly impossible task for the level 14-16 quester. Pillagers are still dangerous when their level is green, taking out huge chunks of health even with the occasional resist.
Abilities
Blast Wave — Unleashes a wave of flame, inflicting Fire damage to nearby enemies and reducing their movement speed for 6 sec.
Molten Armor — Deals Fire damage.
Molten Armor — Causes Fire damage when hit, increases your chance to critically hit with spells by 3%, and reduces the chance you are critically hit by 5%. Only one type of Armor spell can be active at any time. Lasts 10 min.
Fireball — Inflicts Fire damage to an enemy.- Frost Armor — Encases the caster in a layer of frost that lasts 30 min. The thick ice increases armor, slows melee attackers' movement, and increases the time between their attacks.

They are warriors and rogues and are the stronger field units of the Defias Brotherhood.[1]

- According to Blizzard Entertainment at BlizzCon '07 "few mobs kill as much players as the Defias Pillagers."
Patch changes
Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Removed from the Gold Coast Quarry, Moonbrook and Alexston Farmstead, now spawns in Sentinel Hill after [5-30] Rise of the Brotherhood. 
Patch 2.3.0 (2007-11-13): This mob's fireball damage has been reduced.
