Don't grind out kills in the middle -- make it to the northern or southern bulwark first. The ambushing enemies at the northern bulwark all count for this quest. Plenty more guards to kill near the southern bulwark as well.
Eligible mobs include: Stitched Defenders, Flayedwing Transporters, Bolstered Remnants, Skeletal Fleshclotters, Resilient Monstrosities, and Maldraxxi Shieldguards, as well as the Guarded Defilers that need to be killed for [60] Peace by Piece and the Osseous Fleshclotters and Shieldguard Okineda that need to be killed for [60] No Hesitation, No Surrender.
