Brittle Revenants are ice revenants on Frostfield Lake in The Storm Peaks. They can be mined once killed, yielding 
[Geodesic Fragments] and the occasional 
[Crystallized Earth].
They drop 
[Essence of Ice], required for the quest 
[25-30 Daily] Hot and Cold.
