Brink Spannercrank is a gnome rogue and an agent of SI:7. He is bald, has brown eyes and a tattoo of a skull on his forehead.
History
The Shattering: Prelude to Cataclysm
Brink was one of the SI:7 rogues led by King Varian Wrynn that were sent to liberate Ironforge and assassinate Moira Thaurissan. Brink is noted for looking oddly dangerous looking for a gnome,[2] and speaks in a gravelly voice.[3]
Dark Riders
Brink was sent to retrieve several magical artifacts the Dark Riders had gathered over the years, and recruited Revil Kost to aid him in his quest. Along with Mardigan, Karlain and a group of Night Watch led by the Commander Althea Ebonlocke, the party pursued the Dark Riders to the cursed tower of Karazhan and was able escape its dangers with their missing artifacts. He obtained the Scythe of Elune and said he was going to deliver it to a night elf,[4] most likely Valorn Stillbough.
Trivia
- In Beginnings & Ends, the precursor comic to Dark Riders, Brink is murdering a human in a city.
- Brink's surname was revealed with the release of his action figure, which appeared in Series 8 of DC Direct's World of Warcraft action figures. He was part of a two-pack, also featuring Snaggle.
- Brink is the only one of the Dark Riders main characters who is not present in World of Warcraft: Legion.
