Briln was the orc captain of the Blood and Thunder.[1] He lost his eye in the battle against Alliance forces commanded by Admiral Proudmoore. He was charged by Warchief Garrosh Hellscream to oversee the transportation of the magnataur captives and ensure that they arrive in Bilgewater Harbor. Only eight magnataur survived the hazardous trip, and at great cost to his fleet. He delivered them to Bilgewater Harbor, where Garrosh Hellscream personally took over the beasts and promoted Briln to serve under Garrosh himself. Later on Briln took part in the Horde's push to take Ashenvale. During the battle he attacked Commander Haldrissa Woodshaper who was trying to interfere with the Horde's push. She suffered mortal wounds from her battle with Briln. The orc gave the aging commander a swift death in honor of her valorous actions. He was later killed by Varian Wrynn as the king was pursuing Garrosh Hellscream.[2]

- Before he delivered the beasts of Northrend to Bilgewater Harbor, he had visited it at least once prior to that. Since the last visit, he noticed how the port had been built up considerably, covering the entire small island.[3]
