The Bough of the Eternals.
The bank of Darnassus at the tree's roots.

The Bough of the Eternals[1] (or the Boughs of Eternity)[2] was a large tree located at the center of the Temple Gardens in Darnassus,[43, 50] shaped like a bear with a bird emerging from its back. The city's bank was located at its roots, between the bear's forelegs.

Many Darnassians stored their goods in the Boughs. It seems to have been destroyed along with the rest of Darnassus during the Burning of Teldrassil.[2]

Like the Oracle Glade tree, the tree may not have been grown by the night elves, and has a mysterious origin.[3]
