Bonescale Snapper is a common fish from Northrend waters. This is not a schooling fish, so you can only fish it from open water, lakes, and pools. A minimum of 380 fishing is needed to cast in the open waters of most of Northrend, 475 to avoid catching junk fish. The exception is Crystalsong Forest which requires 405 fishing to cast, 500 to not catch junk.
Strategy
Good fishing spots with few mobs and high catch rate (over 50%) include Death's Stand, Winter Breath's Lake, Echo Cove, and a vrykul cave on the coast of Howling Fjord[78, 17].
