Baron Vardus is a human member of the Syndicate, found in the Syndicate camps of the Uplands or the basement of the Strahnbrad Inn in the Alterac Mountains. He was a former noble of Alterac and now quartermaster of the Syndicate.
Baron Vardus contracted assassins to kill Magistrate Henry Maleb. Both Maleb and High Executor Darthalia wanted Vardus' head.
Since the Cataclysm, the Uplands are deserted and Baron Vardus has likely been killed by adventurers in lore.
Abilities
Backhand — Backhands an enemy, stunning it for 2 sec.
Frost Nova — Inflicts Frost damage to nearby enemies, immobilizing them for up to 8 sec.
Frostbolt — Inflicts Frost damage to an enemy and reduces its movement speed for 4 sec.
