The subject of this article or section was part of Radiant Echoes, a world event that heralded the opening of The War Within.
Assauged[sic] Memories are located in Radiant Echoes zones where the event is currently inactive.
- In the Searing Gorge, it appears in the Cauldron[56.3, 44.3] as a small fire elemental.
- In Dustwallow Marsh, it appears in the Wyrmbog[51.5, 74.4] as a sleeping dragon whelp.
- In the Dragonblight, it appears on the Path of the Titans[60.0, 63.8] as a sleeping dog (possibly Arfus).
When Azeroth's memories resurface in a zone, the corresponding Assauged Memories disappear until the event moves to the next zone. Each Assauged Memories has a timer above it showing which zone is up next.

Notes
- Each appears in the location where the remembered boss of their zone (Remembered Firelord, Remembered Onyxia, or Remembered Lich King) spawns. They presumably represent subdued versions of the bosses.
- Prior to the event changes on 1 August 2024, when an event started in a particular zone, they would turn into the Congealed Memories, which had to be defeated as the event's first stage. Once players completed the zone-wide scenario by defeating the remembered boss, the Assauged Memories would appear again.
Patch changes
Hotfix (2024-08-01): No longer turns into Congealed Memories when Azeroth's memories resurface, and no longer reappears when a zone's boss is defeated. - Patch 11.0.0 (2024-07-23): Added.
