The Ancient Bell is a large Dark Iron bell located at the northern edge of the Athenaeum in Blackwing Descent. After the Dark Iron Thanes are defeated, the bell is highlighted by a beam of light, becomes interactable, and is used to summon Atramedes. When Atramedes arrives, he melts and destroys the bell with his fire breath.
The bell is engraved with an image of Blackrock Mountain on the front and one of Ragnaros the Firelord on the back. Dwarven runes are engraved around the top and in lines running down the sides.
Notes
- The runes running down the sides resemble Latin letters and spell out the words "TOO SOON" and "EXECUTUS", in reference to Ragnaros' famous speech in the Molten Core.
