Altered Beasts are rabbits and foxes located in Mazthoril in Winterspring. They have been affected by Umbranse's use of the potent magic in the area. When engaged in combat, each Altered Beast will transform into a gorilla, a lion, a raptor, or a fleshbeast.

Trivia
- They're likely a reference to Altered Beast (1988) or its remake, Altered Beast (2005). Both games involve transforming into various anthropomorphic beasts.
