Alaria is a draenei shaman[1] found in the Exile's Reach.
She was part of the first expedition to the island. When it fell silent, a second expedition was sent after them. Captain Garrick and the Alliance adventurer found Alaria at the Abandoned Camp, tired and hungry.[2] To save her from death, they gathered and prepared food for her. Once she gained strength, she told them that they had been ambushed by quilboar[1] and that the rest of the expedition was taken to the north, captured by the Darkmaul ogres.[3] As such, the Alliance force pushed forward[4] and defeated the ogres in the central area and continued with freeing the prisoners. When they established the Alliance Camp, Alaria and Bjorn Stouthands went to the western area to look for the rest of the expedition and approached a spider pit.[5] In it, Alaria sensed life forces, so she sent the adventurer inside to rescue all trapped members there. She did not go, as she hated spiders. After they were rescued, Alaria and the others returned to the camp.[6] While there, she saw a bear roaming the northern area.[7] Eventually, all members were rescued, and the ogre threat was thwarted, after which the Alliance returned home.
Years later, Alaria attended the Tishamaat in the Exodar and could be seen speaking in the Trader's Tier with Mishka, a Relaxing Augari, and a Tishamaat Celebrant.
