The Absolution Crypt (or Crypt of Absolution)[1] is the base of the Avowed, venthyr of the Ceremony Ward still loyal to The Accuser trying to reclaim control of the Halls of Atonement. The venthyr Gresit, sired by The Accuser herself to spare him the Maw, is located here.
There is a sinrunner that goes from here to Darkhaven.
Cursebreaker Arnon is located in the crypt and is able to remove any long duration curse that various hostile NPCs place upon the player, as well as some cursed grey items from the Greedstones.
