The Grove of Terror is where souls are prepared for the Penitent Hunt, a tradition of the Forest Ward. It is also where the Night Market is located in the south of the area. The Muck Pool: Banewood is to the east, Wanecrypt Hill to the north, and Dredhollow to the west.

- During development, this area was called the "Dread Prelude".
