Description

A Bearer's duty is to carry souls through the veil to Oribos, where they shall be judged and passed along to one of the realms of the Shadowlands.

This soul is ready to move on.

During this trial, you will experience his final moments before his death.

When you are prepared, you shall see how this soul passed.

Notes

On accept:

Ben Howell says: Please, I must protect my family! You cannot take me from them!
Alithea says: Do not weep, Ben Howell. It is your time.
Kleia says: We are here to aid you. Let us see your final moments.

Speak with Ben:

Please, I am not ready. I can show you!
Gossip We must see your final moments.
Ben Howell says: The graveyard...? Why am I...
Ben Howell says: No matter. I should get home to see if my wife needs anything.
Kleia says: Incredible... but, nothing seems amiss. Are we truly witnessing his final moments?
Alithea says: In time, you shall see. These moments of peace are vital to understand this soul.

Players enter the vehicle interface controlling Ben with the following abilities:

  1. Inv misc shovel 01.png Shovel Melee range — Strike in front of you, dealing Physical damage and tilling any soil. Instant (0.5 sec cooldown)
  2. Inv weapon rifle 08.png Trusty Shotgun 25 yd range — Blast targets in a cone in front of you, dealing Physical damage. 2 sec cast (5 sec cooldown)

Head south into Lakeshire. Don't try to cross the bridge, though:

Guard Ashlock says: Sorry Ben, I can't let you pass. We're investigating reports of strange sounds in the hills. Gotta keep the town safe.

As Ben passes villagers:

Ben Howell says: Hey, Vernon! Boat spring a leak again?
Vernon Hale says: A bit worse than that, Ben. A rock tore a hole straight through the wood!
Ben Howell says: I'll bring down some planks for you later. Free of charge!
Rachel says: Hi Mr. Howell!
Nathan says: Hi Mr. Howell!
Erin says: Hi Mr. Howell!
Hannah says: Hi Mr. Howell!
Alma Jainrose says: Ah there you are, Ben. My sister's been looking for you!
Madison says: Hi Mr. Howell!
